We have recently begun work with The Adolescent Service part of South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust. Using digital video capture and editing as a vehicle for expressing themselves we got a small group of children with mental health problems to talk about themselves which we then made into small films. This pilot was so successful that it enabled one child with Asperger's Syndrome to be integrated back into mainstream education. We are now in the second phase of this project where we are using PowerPoint presentations to look at issues in school starting with bullying.
