Your respective EiC Partnerships are responsible for submitting proposals on the future of your EiC Action Zones beyond their initial three-year lifespan. Your zones started at various times between September 2001 and April 2002, and previously Partnerships will have sent these proposals for the Department to determine and approve. We will now only require that your Partnerships send us their decision; the Partnership will be solely responsible for approving the zone's extension, or otherwise.
However, Partnerships will still need to send us a record of this decision, in order to secure funding until March 2006.
