This is a two part website designed to help promote school partnerships, particularly Education Improvement Partnerships (EIPs) and Trust Schools. We provide information and advice on the types of partnership available to assist those considering going into a partnership. We also provide materials to support those wishing to strengthen existing partnerships, evolve into an EIP or become a Trust School.

Part One: Considering how collaboration might help you? Wondering how to go about it?

If you are considering becoming involved in some form of partnership working you will definitely want to visit this part of the site.

To access part of the site, please click here.

Part Two: Are you looking for ways to strengthen or develop your existing partnership?

This part of the website is dedicated to providing you with ways of firming up and improving what you already do, as part of an existing partnership. Maybe you have problems with accountability. Perhaps you are looking at establishing some form of Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the local authority in order to take on delegated responsibility for the provision of services. It could be that you simply want ideas to refocus your current activities. Whatever it is, we hope you will find the answer here or at least find something that helps you discover it for yourself.

For information: This site includes case studies from federations, but please visit the two federations websites for more information. They are located at http://www.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/federations and http://www.innovation-unit.co.uk/
