Excellence and Enjoyment

Summary - there are a number of existing models of partnership working. This section looks at Primary Strategy Learning Networks and how they could, in time, evolve to become Education Improvement Partnerships.

Excellence and Enjoyment: A strategy for primary schools places a strong emphasis on the importance of networking and collaboration in raising standards in primary schools. Primary Strategy Learning Networks (PSLNs) are being developed, through which schools can support each other to focus on a particular area of learning with the aim of raising standards in literacy and maths, increasing schools' capacity to deliver a broad, rich curriculum and improving performance.
