Excellence in Cities: Gifted and Talented Strand

The good practice section of the Gifted and Talented website (part of the Standards site) gives examples of case studies where study support has been used to raise standards for gifted and talented children, for example, after school enrichment lectures, lunchtime reading clubs and Summer Schools. The Gifted and Talented initiative aims to improve the education of gifted and talented children through national initiatives, Excellence in Cities (EIC), Excellence Clusters and Excellence Challenge.
