Evaluation of study support has found firm evidence that participating pupils do better than expected from baseline measures in academic attainment, attitudes to school and attendance at school. Therefore study support has an important contribution to make to school improvement. The School Improvement website aims to assist schools to raise standards by promoting and disseminating good practice. It is particularly aimed at helping schools who face challenging circumstances.
