Step 4 What must we do to make it happen?

Stage 4 - involves the school in revising its development plan to highlight action to achieve the targets.

Schools need to move from reviewing performance to taking action.  Sharing an agreed picture of the school's performance and with clear targets for improvement, discussions in the school should turn to action planning.  Action plans identify what is needed to achieve the targets, including important changes that need implementing and how the action plan is to be supported with resources and staff development.

This stage is about the school discussing its performance and idenifying the action needed to improve.
