Pupil Projection Guide [TeacherNet]
The Pupil Projection Guide is designed to help local authorities (working closely with their schools) to make accurate projections of pupil numbers for individual schools on a rolling three-year basis. These projections will feed into important planning activities such as building each school's detailed budget, school improvement planning and curriculum planning. The Guide is structured as follows: introduction; understanding the context for your projections; overview of the pupil projection process; local authority level projections; school level projections; cross-cutting issues; case studies; further information; and glossary.www.teachernet.gov.uk/management/schoolfunding/Resources/pupilprojectionguide/
Value for Money in SEN/AEN Resource Pack for Schools
This SEN/AEN Value for Money Resource Pack produced by the Audit Commission aims to support schools in making best use of available resources. The resource pack is a voluntary improvement tool. It includes a seven-stage model for SEN/AEN value for money, covering budgets and spend, needs assessment, provision and evaluation. Its self-review format prompts information gathering so that schools can bring together all relevant management information and build a picture of their current practice in one place. An action plan - ths final stage in the process - is generated from the responses to the self assessment.
